Ah nutmegs roasting on an open fire...and Jack Frost nipping at your nose. That’s right, ‘tis the season once again and as the bells ring out for Christmas, we’re rocking around the campaigns of Christmas past for a little bit of #XmasInspo (too many puns?)
Twas the Christmas of 2016, and Alzheimer Research’s campaign featured a dementia suffering Santa. As a sympathetic young girl encourages the elves to research a cure for Alzheimer's and essentially ‘save Christmas’ this commercial comes with a powerful and poignant message.
Are you dreading visiting Aunt Marge and sharing a sofa with 7 overweight cats? HotelTonight’s Christmas campaign gives you a way to visit not stay, making our time with the ‘less than favourite’ relatives a bit more bearable during the festive season. This campaign was also coupled with a competition allowing their followers to share their worst or funniest holiday family memory.
Heathrow’s ‘coming home for Christmas’ campaign featured two bears making their way through Heathrow airport. As bears do, they struggled to get from point A to point B but were aided through the airport by the friendly Heathrow staff.
Based on the concept of ‘bringing a dish’ to the party, Sonos and Spotify paired up to create #PlaylistPotluck inviting every guest to bring a tune to the party playlist instead. Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock?
