This guide contains all you need to know about Adobe Express’ Content Scheduler.


What does the Adobe acquisition mean for the ContentCal product?

ContentCal is now known as Content Scheduler in Adobe Express where you will find some of the ContentCal features you know & love alongside thousands of beautiful templates to quickly and easily make and share standout content.

When will access to ContentCal close?

Access to ContentCal will close on 31st March 2023.

What is Adobe Express?

Adobe Express is an Adobe application that allows you to create and share standout content, all in one place. Choose from thousands of professionally designed templates and assets for social media content, logos, flyers and more to help get you started today.

What are the differences between the Adobe Express Content Scheduler and ContentCal?

Using Adobe Express you can now:

Plan: Make and plan your social media themes, topics, and campaigns through tools that help draft and finalize your content. See and manage your social cadence through a single drag-and-drop calendar.

Schedule: Set your content to publish at exactly the right time to ensure that it lands well with your audience and reaches as many people as possible.

Preview: See individual scheduled social posts in preview mode to view exactly what your followers will see once your post is live.

Publish: Save time by publishing your posts across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest from one place.

Content Scheduler offers a variety of features that are currently suited to individual users or small businesses. We are rapidly developing more features that support teams and agencies and bringing all functionality to mobile – be on the lookout for all this coming soon.

How can I try out Adobe Express?

How much is Adobe Express?

Adobe Express is free with an option to upgrade to a Premium version. You can find the plans and pricing here. If the social media tools in Adobe Express meet your needs, you could save money on the Premium subscription compared to your current ContentCal subscription.

Who is Adobe Express suitable for?

Content Scheduler offers a variety of features that are currently suited to individual users or small businesses.

When will features be suited to teams and agencies?

Will my existing ContentCal account be automatically updated to Adobe Express?

No. You will need to sign up for Adobe Express separately if you wish to begin using Adobe Express. Your ContentCal account will remain active, unless you cancel, until March 31st 2023.

I’m an existing customer. If I move to Adobe Express will my billing be automatically updated?

No, you would need to email us at ccalspio@adobe.com in order to cancel your ContentCal account in advance of March 31st 2023.

If I chose to move to Adobe Express, will all of my posts be migrated?

No, you will have to manually download your posts and save them on your device in order to re-upload them into Adobe Express. Please head to our help guide to learn how to do this. Please note, your content and account information will be deleted on 31st March 2023 and will not be recoverable.

I need to add a new team member/client calendar to my account. Can I still do this?

No, you will not be able to make any changes to your ContentCal plan from now until 31st March 2023.

I have many Zapier Integrations set up across my client calendars. Will these be migrated?

No, we will not be able to transition ContentCal customers' account settings or data to Adobe Express. Any integrations will cease on March 31st 2023.

What’s going to happen to my billing?

We will cease services on 31st March 2023, after this point, you will no longer be billed. If you have paid to have access to ContentCal beyond 31st March 2023, you will be refunded on a prorated basis.

Can I cancel now?

Yes, please email ccalspio@adobe.com or drop us a message through live-chat and we will be able to cancel your account to ensure you are not charged further. You will retain access through the end of billing period, provided it does not extend past 31st March 2023.
