How do I re-open a message?

If you wish to re-open a closed message, you can do so by selecting the inbox icon on the top right of the message.

How do I view closed messages?

Many of the inboxes in Engage come with a filter that allows you to view Open or Closed conversations. For example, if you head to the 'All' inbox in the Teams area you'll be able to filter to view 'Closed' conversations only.

What do the red dots mean?

When using Engage, you may notice that red dots appear on some of the inboxes in the lefthand inbox menu.

Red dots are used to signify that new messages have arrived in that inbox.

You will also notice that if you are not within the Engage tab, a red dot will appear on the Engage tab when new messages have arrived. This allows you to stay aware of new social media messages from within other areas of ContentCal.

How long does it take social media messages to appear within Engage? (And how long does it take my replies to appear on social media conversations)

Engage works in real-time meaning that direct messages and comments from social media will appear within the Engage inbox IMMEDIATELY.

The same is true vice versa - your responses to social media conversations will appear on your social channels instantly.

Can I like and retweet?

To like a mention or comment, simply select the 'like' icon on the received message (for Facebook this will be a thumbs up and for Twitter and Instagram this will be a heart).

Retweeting can be done by selecting the retweet icon to the right handside of incoming Tweets.

Can I mark messages as spam or block people via Engage?

This is currently not possible although we may introduce this ability in the future. If you'd be interested in seeing this feature in Engage, let us know by submitting your feedback here.

Can I add saved replies?

Currently, it's not possible to create saved replies, although this is something we may add to Engage in the future. If you'd be interested in seeing this feature in Engage, let us know by submitting your feedback here.

Can I search conversations?

It's not currently possible to search your Engage conversations although we may introduce this in the future. If you'd be interested in seeing this feature in Engage, let us know by submitting your feedback here.

Can I snooze a conversation?

It's not currently possible to snooze conversations in Engage although we may introduce this in the future. If you'd be interested in seeing this feature in Engage, let us know by submitting your feedback here.

Can I reply to messages and comments from Instagram or LinkedIn?

It's not currently possible to connect Instagram or LinkedIn channels to Engage. This is something we are looking into.
